Tivoli Audio has introduced its latest tabletop product, the Model Two Digital, which combines sleek design with wireless connectivity. This new addition to the “Model” series features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capabilities, allowing users to stream music from their devices effortlessly. The Model Two Digital boasts a stylish and compact design that can be positioned horizontally or vertically to suit any space.

One noticeable change from its predecessor, the Model One Digital, is the elimination of the oversized dial and screen. In its place, a single knob serves as the control for power, source selection, and volume. Interestingly, the Model Two Digital does not include an AM or FM tuner, making it the first tabletop product in the Tivoli Audio “Model” series to lack a terrestrial radio feature.

Despite the absence of traditional radio functions, Tivoli Audio believes that this wireless speaker will appeal to those who enjoy streaming music and have access to their favorite terrestrial stations through apps like TuneIn. The Model Two Digital offers multiple connection options, including Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, and Chromecast. It also supports popular streaming platforms such as Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect.

The Model Two Digital’s design features a diagonally oriented grille with a brushed metal ionized finish, which makes it easier to clean and disinfect, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The cabinets of the speaker are still made with real wood veneers, maintaining Tivoli Audio’s commitment to quality.

Inside, the Model Two Digital houses a new set of drivers, consisting of a 3.5-inch full range driver and a 0.75-inch tweeter. Although specific details about the amplification have not been provided, Tivoli Audio claims that this updated model delivers a fuller and louder sound compared to its predecessors.
