Redmi K60 Ultra 24GB RAM + 1TB storage goes on sale today in China

Redmi recently launched the highly anticipated Redmi K60 Ultra (also known as the Extreme Edition) along with other products. During the first sale on August 16, the company managed to sell an astounding 220,000 units of the K60 Ultra in just 5 minutes. The phone has five different variants, with four of them already available for purchase since August 16. And now, starting from today, Redmi is conducting the first sale of the much-awaited 24 GB RAM edition of the K60 Ultra.

The Redmi K60 Ultra’s 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM variant comes with an enormous 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Priced at 3,599 Yuan (around $500), it offers excellent value for money compared to the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro with the same 24 GB RAM + 1 TB configuration, priced at 3,999 Yuan (~$549). The K60 Ultra is powered the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset, which reportedly delivers slightly better performance than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

In terms of specifications, the Redmi K60 Ultra boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It has a thickness of 8.5mm and weighs around 204 grams. The phone features a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also includes an under-display fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

The K60 Ultra comes with the latest MIUI 14-based Android 13 out of the box. It sports a 20-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera setup with optical image stabilization (OIS). The device packs a powerful 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.

Apart from the 24 GB RAM variant with 1 TB storage, the Dimensity 9200 Plus-powered smartphone is also available in other configurations. These include 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. The respective prices for these variants are 2,599 Yuan (~$357), 2,799 Yuan (~$384), 2,999 Yuan (~$412), and 3,299 Yuan (~$453).

Overall, the Redmi K60 Ultra offers a robust list of specifications and features at an attractive price point, making it a highly competitive option in the market.
