Prime Minister Narendra Modi Visits International Media Centre and Crafts Bazaar Exhibition

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently paid a visit to the International Media Centre (IMC) and the ‘Crafts Bazaar’ exhibition at the Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. The visit took place during the 18th two-day G20 Summit, where PM Modi has been engaging in bilateral talks with various world leaders.

The Prime Minister was warmly welcomed as he entered the decked-up ground floor hall of the International Media Centre. The hall was adorned with G20 logos and decorative panels reflecting the theme of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” which means “One Earth. One Family. One Future.”

During his visit, PM Modi also explored the Digital India Pavilion at the Bharat Mandapam. This pavilion showcases India’s digital achievements and initiatives to transform the country into a digitally empowered society.

PM Modi took the opportunity to meet with several leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, President of Comoros and African Union Azali Assoumani, Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Throughout these bilateral talks, India aimed to promote a message of unity and peace to the world despite the ongoing conflicts, such as Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

The visit to the International Media Centre and Crafts Bazaar exhibition highlights India’s active role in the G20 Summit and its commitment to fostering international partnerships. These initiatives also reflect India’s efforts to embrace digital technologies and showcase its cultural heritage through events like the Crafts Bazaar.
