Sony recently revealed that several games will be leaving the PS Plus Extra Catalog over the next month. A post on Reddit highlighted that eight games are set to leave on September 19, and one game will be leaving on August 31.

The games scheduled to leave on September 19 include Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands – Standard Edition, Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2, Death end re;Quest 2, Deathloop, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, Through the Darkest of Times, and Nidhogg 2. Steep will be leaving on August 31.

Players who are currently enjoying these games as part of the PS Plus Extra catalog should take note that they will no longer be available soon.

In other news, PlayStation classics like Tekken 2, Ridge Racer 2, Ridge Racer Type 4, and Mr. Driller can now be purchased on PlayStation 5. Previously exclusive to a Premium subscription, these beloved classics can now be bought individually for $9.99 each. This marks the first time that PS1 games from the back catalog are available as standalone purchases on the PS5.

These announcements provide an opportunity for PS Plus subscribers to make the most of the games in the Extra Catalog before they are removed. It also allows PlayStation 5 owners to experience some nostalgic gaming with the addition of classic titles to the PS5 library.
