Premiere Networks’ “The Dan Patrick Show” Set to Broadcast Live from Ireland

The popular syndicated show, “The Dan Patrick Show”, will be broadcasting live from Ireland in anticipation of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic between the University of Notre Dame and the U.S. Naval Academy. The show will be originating from the Temple Bar district of Dublin from August 23 to August 25. Special guest, actor and comedian Will Ferrell, will be joining host Dan Patrick and “The Danettes” for the three-day broadcast.
Pittsburgh Radio Station Raises Money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Audacy country station “Y108” WDSY Pittsburgh promised to grow a mullet if listeners raised $1,962 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In an effort to surpass the goal, the station’s morning show, “Broadway and Friends”, declared a “Mullet-thon” and successfully raised $6,437. Host Tom “Cadillac Jack” Kapsalis will bid farewell to his mullet when Morgan Wallen performs in Pittsburgh on August 30 and 31. The station praised Kapsalis’ dedication to the cause and commended him as a hero.
KHAK Cedar Rapids Raises Over $150,000 for Children’s Miracle Network
Townsquare Media country station KHAK Cedar Rapids, IA collected $152,524 for Children’s Miracle Network at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital during its annual radiothon. Morning hosts Ryan “Brain” Brainard and Courtlin Baca broadcasted live from Iowa City and exceeded last year’s fundraising total over $16,000. The station has now raised over $3.5 million for the hospital in its 26 years of hosting the event.
WTOP Washington, DC Partners with Kim Komando for New Daily Feature
Hubbard Broadcasting news station WTOP Washington, DC has added Kim Komando’s “Digital Life Hack” vignette as a daily feature. The audio segments, which provide insider tips for maximizing digital potential, will be available to talk and music stations. “KS1075” KQKS Denver Collects Sneakers for Children in Need
Audacy rhythmic CHR station “KS1075” KQKS Denver partnered with Sole4Kids and the Denver Dream Center for its “Beats and Sneaks” campaign. Over 500 pairs of children’s sneakers were collected during the summer-long drive, and were distributed at the Aztlan Recreation Center. The station also auctioned custom artist sneakers to support the campaign and promote community engagement.

Delta Media classic country station “Mustang 107.1” KOGM Lafayette, LA has secured the rights to carry Louisiana State University women’s basketball games starting from the 2023-2024 season.
