Motorola Launches New Line of Affordable Smartphones with Sleek Designs

Motorola has unveiled a range of impressive new smartphones following the recent Apple iPhone 15 event. The Motorola Edge 40 Neo, Moto G84 5G, and Moto G54 5G offer sleek and modern designs at affordable prices. These devices are now available in various markets, including the United Kingdom.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is a slim and durable device with curved edges and IP68 protection. Priced at 300 British pounds ($375), it features a 50MP Ultra Pixel camera sensor with all-pixel focus technology for high-quality photos. It also offers 16x faster lowlight performance, making it ideal for nighttime photography.

As the latest addition to the Motorola Edge series in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), the Edge 40 Neo showcases Motorola’s commitment to sustainability. It utilizes Lenovo’s CO2 Offset Services to offset CO2 emissions throughout its lifecycle while supporting climate action projects. The device comes in 100% plastic-free packaging with soy ink and 60% recycled materials. Additionally, it includes a 100% plant-based case that matches the phone’s color, further promoting eco-friendliness.

With a 5,000mAh battery and 68-watt TurboPower fast charging, the Motorola Edge 40 Neo offers swift recharging, reaching 50% in just 15 minutes. Its 6.55-inch pOLED display features a 144Hz refresh rate for an immersive viewing experience. Equipped with Media Ten Dimesity 7030’s processor, the phone also supports 5G connectivity.

The Moto G84 5G stands out with its fashionable vegan leather exterior. It boasts a 50MP Ultra Pixel camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens with Macro Vision, and a 16MP front-facing camera with fast autofocus. The device features a 6.5-inch infinity contrast pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and exceptional 1,300 nits of brightness, delivering an impressive visual experience at an affordable price.

Powered the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, the Moto G84 5G promises good speed and functionality. It comes in Pantone’s Color of the Year, Viva Magenta, with vegan leather options in Marshmallow Blue and matte plastic backing in Midnight Blue. The starting price for the Moto G84 5G is 250 British pounds ($312) in several EMEA markets.

The Moto G54 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ 120Hz display with stereo speakers, ensuring seamless performance and low latency. Its 50MP camera includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Quad Pixel technology for enhanced lowlight sensitivity and sharper photos. The device is powered the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 octa-core processor and a 5,000mAh battery with TurboPower. It sports a premium matte finish and is available in various color options, starting at 180 British pounds ($225) in select markets.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo, Moto G84 5G, and Moto G54 5G are set to ship before the end of September in select locations. All three devices will come preloaded with Android 13 operating system.
