Korea’s KT Partners with Singapore’s SingPost to Boost AI-Powered Digital Logistics

KT, a leading telecom carrier in Korea, has announced a partnership with SingPost, Singapore’s postal service, to strengthen its AI-powered digital logistics business. Under this collaboration, the two companies will conduct a pilot program for digital logistics transportation in seven districts in Singapore using KT’s AI delivery system, Lisfo (Logistics Intelligence Suite for Fleet Optimization).

SingPost, which operates logistic centers catering to numerous clients, aims to enhance its delivery services through the utilization of KT’s AI solution. By incorporating real-time data, such as traffic conditions and vehicle arrivals and departures, SingPost will be able to determine optimized delivery routes. KT predicts that through the implementation of Lisfo, SingPost can reduce its road mileage 27 percent and the number of vehicles 15 percent, based on data provided the Singaporean postal service.
