Chicago residents and visitors hoping to score affordable tickets to see the hit musical Hamilton can now participate in a digital ticket lottery. Broadway in Chicago recently announced the “#Ham4Ham” Digital Lottery, which offers a limited number of tickets for every performance at the discounted price of $10 each.
The digital lottery for performances between September 13 and September 17 opened on September 1, with entries closing on Thursday at noon. Subsequent lotteries will begin on Fridays at 10 a.m. and close the following Thursday at noon for the upcoming week’s performances.
To enter the lottery, participants must use the Hamilton app. All notifications regarding whether an individual has won or lost will be sent via email and mobile push notification. Winners will have a two-hour window to claim and purchase their tickets. Each winning entry provides the opportunity to buy up to two tickets, which can be picked up at will call prior to the show.
It’s important to note that lottery tickets are void if sold. More information about the Hamilton lottery can be found on the Broadway in Chicago website.
Hamilton is currently running in Chicago at the James R. Nederlander Theater until December 30. Don’t miss this chance to experience the Tony-award winning musical at an affordable price!
