The Haunted Mansion Comes to Disney+ and Major Digital Retailers

The highly anticipated film adaptation of Disneyland’s popular and frightful ride, The Haunted Mansion, will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting October 4th. In addition to Disney+, the movie can also be purchased through major digital retailers such as Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu/Fandango. For fans who prefer physical copies, the film will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 17th.
The Haunted Mansion follows the story of a single mom who moves into a new mansion and recruits a psychic, a priest, and a historian to help her get rid of the ghosts that haunt the house. Directed Justin Simien and written Katie Dippold, the film boasts an impressive cast including Jamie Lee Curtis, LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Danny Devito, Rosario Dawson, Chase W. Dillon, and Jared Leto.
For those who choose to wait for the physical release, there will be bonus features included. These features consist of eight deleted scenes, an extended gag reel, and exclusive featurettes. The featurettes delve into the process of creating the film based on the world-famous ride, with insights from the cast, crew, and filmmakers. Viewers will also have the opportunity to discover the many Easter eggs that can be found in both the movie and the ride.
