WBAY-TV, a leading media company owned and operated Gray Television, is currently seeking a Digital News Content Producer to join their team. WBAY-TV is an award-winning station located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which has been named the #1 Best Place to Live in the Country U.S. News & World Report.

The Digital News Content Producer will be responsible for integrating written, video, and audio content into stories for wbay.com and the station’s social media sites. They will work closely with the assignment desk to send teams of reporters, camera operators, and support staff to cover news stories. Additionally, they will coordinate the distribution of content across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities for this position include writing stories, editing and posting videos, and engaging users on social media. The ideal candidate should have excellent conversational writing and communication skills. They should also have experience in web and graphic design software, digital publishing applications, and multimedia production software.

Applicants must have a deep understanding of how to engage users on social media platforms, as well as the ability to utilize social listening techniques to discover newsworthy stories. Knowledge of digital content management systems, TVU backpacks/apps, and Edius Video editing is also required.
