Just Adventure Productions LLC Receives $10,000 Grant to Support Small Business Digital Production and Marketing

Just Adventure Productions LLC, a small business based in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, recently received a $10,000 seed capital matching grant from the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority (VCEDA). The primary goal of the business is to assist other small businesses with their digital production and marketing needs. In addition to their current services, Just Adventure Productions has plans for expansion. They aim to offer web design, mobile app development, and social media training services in the future. The business projects the creation of up to four full-time and two part-time job positions within the next five years.

With four years of production experience, Falin decided to start his own company after receiving requests from other businesses to assist with their digital content and promotions. He is currently completing his senior year at the University of Tennessee, majoring in mass communications. In addition, he is a member of the Wedding and Event Videographers Association International and is working towards the WEVA International Merited Professional Videographer certification.

To support the launch of Just Adventure Productions, Tabitha Hibbitts Grieger, a social media consultant with over 20 years of small business experience, joined the team. The recent grant from VCEDA has been instrumental in helping the business acquire the necessary equipment. Without the grant, Falin would have had to go into debt to purchase the equipment required for high-quality digital production.
