The Best Basilisk Akimbo Loadout in Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 Season 5

The Akimbo setup, which allows players to wield two secondary weapons simultaneously, is considered one of the fastest and most powerful combos in Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 Season 5. While the Akimbo setup has been nerfed in the past, it remains effective and can still be a dominant choice in the current meta. The Basilisk revolver is the best weapon to use in a dual-wield configuration due to its high damage potential, but other weapons are also viable options.

To unlock the Basilisk Akimbo in Warzone 2.0, players can reach profile rank 39 in either Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2. Alternatively, they can acquire the pistol playing DMZ and stealing it from an opponent who has already picked it up. Once unlocked, players must earn experience points playing with the Basilisk in multiple matches to upgrade it. After reaching level 29, they will be rewarded with the Akimbo setup for the revolver.

The recommended attachments for the Basilisk Akimbo setup are as follows: 10.5” FTAC Arrow barrel, Revo-LSD 7mW laser sight, .500 Snakeshot ammunition, Akimbo Basilisk rear grip, and Bryson Match Grade trigger action. These attachments increase stability, accuracy, and fire rate while dual wielding, resulting in a more powerful and efficient loadout.

In addition to the Basilisk Akimbo, players should also choose a primary weapon, perks, and equipment to complete their loadout. An SMG is recommended as the primary weapon to complement the Akimbo Basilisk’s low time to kill (TTK). The suggested perks are Double Time, Bomb Squad, Fast Hands, and Ghost. Double Time increases sprinting duration and crouch movement speed, Bomb Squad reduces the effectiveness of explosives and refills equipment, Fast Hands allows for quick weapon switching, and Ghost provides stealth and protection against enemy UAVs. The recommended lethal equipment is the Drill Charge, and the tactical equipment is the Heartbeat Sensor.

Using this Akimbo Basilisk loadout, players can dominate in close-range combat and deal high damage to their opponents. The combination of the Basilisk Akimbo and a well-chosen primary weapon, along with the suggested perks and equipment, creates a powerful and versatile loadout for Warzone 2.0 Season 5.
