The Valencia Digital Summit (VDS2023) is set to be the premier event of the year for gaining insights into the current and future landscape of artificial intelligence (AI). Organized Startup Valencia, this international tech event will take place on October 26th and 27th at the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia.

The summit will bring together industry experts, researchers, innovators, academics, investors, and institutional leaders to discuss the transformative power of AI. Through a series of talks and debates, attendees will gain insights into how AI is shaping different sectors and its impact on work, education, organizational evolution, institutional development, and healthcare.

One of the panel discussions, titled “Innovative AI Applications: Pioneering Solutions for Business Success,” will feature speakers such as Vladimer Botsvadze from the US Artificial Intelligence Institute, Ruben Melkonian from Soilmate.ai, Karim Benchaaboun from Flowlity, and AI expert Bartosz Ziółko. They will share their experiences in harnessing AI applications to enhance competitiveness in their respective sectors.

The summit will also feature a round table session on AI venture capital, where experts like Guenia Gawendo from Telefónica Ventures, Verónica Trapa from Swanlaab Venture Factory, Patricia Pastor from Next Tier Ventures, and Jonathan Hollis from Mountside Ventures will discuss trends and opportunities in the dynamic AI market.

Other panels will explore the convergence of technology and creative adoption in Asia and Europe, the impact of innovation on the world with a cybersecurity perspective, and future trends in global tourism.

The Valencia Digital Summit is expected to attract over 10,000 attendees from 80 countries, including over 400 international investors with a collective investment portfolio exceeding €8 billion. The event is supported organizations such as HP, Damm, Elewit, Wayra, Burda Principal Investments, Banco Sabadell, and CaixaBank, as well as the Government of Spain, the Generalitat Valenciana, the Diputación de Valencia, and the Valencia City Council.

Startup Valencia, the organizing entity behind the summit, has played a crucial role in establishing the Valencian tech and innovation ecosystem as one of the largest in Spain. With over 1,200 startups and an investment of over €700 million in recent years, Valencia has become a recognized tech hub.

The Valencia Digital Summit 2023 will not only showcase the advancements in AI but will also highlight regional startups and their contributions to innovation. This event solidifies Valencia’s position as a global epicenter of technology and innovation.
